Exposure concentration

The concentration of a chemical in its transport or carrier medium at the point of contact. The amount of agent present in the contact volume divided by the contact volume. For example, the amount of agent collected in a personal air monitor divided by volume sampled. The concentration of a chemical or other pollutant representing a health threat in a given environment.
